Birthday Parties and FUN!!

Ethan got to go to his buddy Ira's birthday party at My-Gym. It was a total blast!! They do a fantastic job there, and we all had a great time!

The holiday that I can't Spell!

Hanukkah came early this year and was a lot of fun for the family! We went over to Rhody and Greg's house (Ethan's favorite place in Tucson, I am sure!) to celebrate the first night with the kids. Ethan had a blast (as did we!).

We had our own mini-Hanukkah party that weekend with the Ferrells, Korens, Kish-Newmans, and Auti and Matt!

But some of our favorite things in the spirit of the holiday were quiet nights of lighting candles together and being a family. We also went out shopping for some toys for tots toys, which was a really great experience for Ethan, learning the true meaning of the holidays!

Fire Fire Fire! (Trucks that is....)

Tucson totally rocks for kids. There are lots of parks, lots of swimming, museums, the zoo, and all kinds of walking paths and hikes. However, one of the most fun things we have found is to stop by a fire station and visit the fire trucks. Ethan LOVES to visit the trucks (usually with Carter) and meet the super nice firemen that show him around! He has even gotten to see the inside of the station, the beds, the kitchen, and the workout room!

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is the one holiday that Jon and I will not travel at all. Everyone leaves on the same day, and it is just a total mess!! We did have a terrific day in Tucson though, having a turkey, playing outside, and watching football! Here are pictures from Ethan's 3 thanksgivings. I can't believe how much he as grown!

Hanging with my Gal!

We have been having lots of fun doing new things, going on new adventures and having fun! We had Sarah over to play, and then Ethan got to go to her birthday party! He had a blast! Then we went on an outing to La Encantada with her. Too much fun!!

Ethan and Sarah liked to play with the quad!

And they liked playing in the log cabin!

And working with beads!

Sarah's birthday party was a lot of fun too! They had a jumping castle, and these amazing cupcakes too!

We then went to La Encanda together. We had ice cream and we rode the turtles, and we played with the fountain.

Sarah fed Ethan!

They rode turtles and played in fountains!

And Ethan even got a goodbye kiss!

Tailgate!

I think it is so funny when, as parents, we are able to convince our children to support things that we really love. You know, things like sports teams, or specific books and stories, music types, and of course schools. We are determined to never do this to our children.

But I guess when you are going to a tailgate....it is ok....really, it is!!!

Just a boy!

I just love this picture of Ethan! His smile, his eyes, just too cute! There is just nothing more to say that that!

Thanks to Di from Australia for the awesome T-Shirt!!

Growing up

Ethan is great when we go to get his picture done, which is a great thing, cause we seem to go and do it a lot!

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween seems like it was just yesterday, even though it was almost two months ago. it seems so strange how fast time flies! Ethan is in love with pumpkins, although when we went to the pumpkin patch all he wanted were yellow ones (Also known as spaghetti squash).

Well, we had a very busy Halloween weekend, we went to a my-gym party on Friday, Trick-or-Treating La Encantada on Saturday, and then Auti and Matt came to Trick-or-Treat on Sunday! Whew, then we all passed out!!!

Jon dressed up as Woody, Ethan was Buzz (although he did wear his Woody pjs also for a picture) and Zeke was a combination of costumes. All in all, La Encantada was his favorite, but all the things he did he loved!
